Prestigious car brand Porsche were moving to new custom-built premises in the Titanic Quarter Belfast, building a new centre capable of showcasing up to 16 cars as well as 7 state-of-the-art workshop bays for servicing and valeting cars.

Background

The Porsche Centre is the only one of its kind in Northern Ireland, supplying new and approved used cars, a full workshop and Parts Aftersales Department. The centre was designed and built with high specification facilities and equipment to match the exacting standards of the cars.

Porsche were keen to eradicate the problems and inconvenience they experienced from using a series of portable vacuums at their old showrooms, including:

Risk of damage to cars from portable vacuums hitting them
Potential trip hazard from trailing cables
Inconvenience of maintaining several portable vacuums

The Solution

BEAM were asked to provide a high specification vacuuming solution to meet the needs of the cleaning and valeting requirements within the showroom workshop. We supplied and fitted 2 x Revoblock 1800 Central Vacuum units, each with 7 separate vacuum inlets. The units serviced a total of 7 bays which provides industrial strength vacuuming for bespoke valeting and incorporates 2-stage cyclonic filtration system with a 60-litre dust collection bin.

The solution provides all the convenience of a central vacuum system, including:

No loss of suction when all vacuum inlets are in use
